Every time I open HRD It comes up. Connects to my Kenwood 440 and shuts down after about 15 to 30 seconds.

When I connect to my Kenwood TS-450 it is fine, until I try to do anything, cha ge frequency, bands, anything. Then HRD crashes and just disappears.
Also it will not connect to my K2, says it can't find it. Both the TS-450 and the K2 work just fine under XP Home on the same box, different partition.

hrd taked a lot of ram for works out of the live dvd
what are your specs of your box (ram cpu)

RAM:

if it won't run with that ……

hi,this is weird.try that:
download the last hrd setup and re install it by clikin on it,it ll launch wine installer.for notification,click on the suscribe flag.

I had tried that, downloading and installing a new HRD, just incase there were something about the version, back when I still had Shackbox installed. I have since uninstalled it after a few days f frustrations. Sorry.
Have you actually gotten HRD to run for you, interfacing with what radio, and with what interface to the rig? Did it control the rig ok, or did you have any problems. I guess I should also ask what your computer is and what interface to what rig.

hi,
i am very sorry to hear that, pitty that you couldn t get it working propelly.
well hrd is running fine for me  never had any prob, rig control ok .
you know what, maybe it s a window making issue, you should try to google your video car see if you can upgrade drivers, that helped to me for my F*****g nviedia card
